Here were a few of our favorites from Stratechery Plus this week.

- Uber and Autonomous Cars. Ben’s conversation with Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi was fascinating, drawing connections between Dara’s previous stint as Expedia CEO to the current markets that Uber operates. The specific part of the discussion I’ve been thinking about a lot is the future of autonomous vehicles and whether Uber’s control of demand will matter more than companies like Tesla delivery supply. It’s clear that autonomous vehicles are the future, but it’s extremely unclear how exactly that’ll manifest, and I’ll be thinking back to this discussion a lot as Uber navigates their way through it. — Daman Rangoola
- The Implications of Deep Research. I was surprised by Ben’s conclusions in Deep Research and Knowledge Value: if all public knowledge and information becomes as easily accessible and commoditized by these LLMs, how will one differentiate and generate value from their analysis and research? Will we actually know less? — DR
- Graphic Design Nerd Out. I am most out of my depth listening to John Gruber and Ben discuss things like fonts and graphic design, but it is always them at their most entertaining. Like many during the Super Bowl, I was taken aback by the new scorebug graphic design, but hearing Ben and John discuss it on Dithering made me come to appreciate the bold choices. — DR
